Litochoro Beaches
Litochoro has many beautiful, free as well as organized beaches. Some are sandy, some shingle and there are many isolated ones.
Plaka Beach
Coastal residential area with major hotels (Litohoro Resort, Cavo Olympo), campings (Olympos Beach, one of the best in Greece), rooms to let, bars, fish taverns.
Gritsa Beach
Here you may find: The youth hostel "SUMMIT ZERO". It serves homemade food, has a bar and is open throughout the year. Also, the big hotel Dion Palace, Nausicaa Hotel, rooms to let (Coral), Camping Mytikas, fish taverns, bars.
Varikos Beach
Sandy beaches, shallow waters, ideal for children. There are many camping sites.
Platamonas & Castle
Platamonas: Distance 22 km. Time 30'
Known seaside resort with many tourists during the summertime.
Platamonas Castle: Distance: 18 km. Time 20'
Frankish castle from 1,200 AD. In very good condition. Location of the Olympus Festival, in July-August.
