The Adventure

ANCIENT DION

Distance 12 km. Time 15'

Archaeological site of great importance for Macedonia. It includes the ancient city, two theaters, a three-floor museum and the Mosaics Mediterranean Center.

A satisfying tour of the site takes about four hours. Try the restaurants opposite the museum, that serve local meat. In the main theater of the site takes place the Festival of Olympus in July and August.

Distance: 78 km. Time: 50'

The most important archaeological site of Macedonia with the tomb of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great.
